Rethinking Emotional Eating
In this guided, five-session workshop, participants will deepen their understanding of why emotional eating happens and how the cycle is maintained. Together, we’ll uncover the personal triggers- both emotional and situational- that lead to eating as a coping tool and draw from evidence-based practices in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to learn practical skills to manage cravings, navigate difficult emotions, and replace old habits with more supportive coping strategies.

Understanding the Psychological Side of GLP-1 Treatment
Navigating Ozempic, Zepbound, or other GLP-1 medications can bring up a lot of questions- not just about the medical aspects, but about the emotional changes that may come with treatment. If you’re looking for information or a space to ask the questions you haven’t found answers to, join Dr. Newman for a brief presentation and Q&A focused on the mental health factors that can arise with GLP-1s and other weight-related treatment. This informational session won’t provide medical advice and does not constitute psychological treatment, but it will offer expert guidance on the emotional aspects of weight-related treatment.
Session held via Zoom, $20 cost to participate payable via Zelle. Contact us for sign up!
